Refugees need books
Books give refugees like Yvonne in Kenya a chance to build a brighter future
65.6 million people around the world have been displaced. Many have no choice but to seek refuge in a camp.
In one of the world’s largest refugee camps, Kakuma in Kenya, over 70,000 children share a single one-room community library.
But books offer refugees the chance to change their future. 23 year old refugee Yvonne used books to succeed in school, and now she has a scholarship to go to university outside of the camp.
Sign the pledge and send a message that all refugees should have books. When 300 people pledge, we’ll share with Yvonne that people like you are backing refugees in their fight for a better future through books.
