Fundraising challenges

Many of our supporters choose to take on all sorts of challenges to raise vital funds for our work, and all support is truly appreciated.

Although we don’t currently hold guaranteed places at events, we’d love to support you in your fundraising if you’re lucky enough to secure your own place.

There are all sorts of challenges you can take on, whether abseiling down a building, running a 10k or jumping out of a plane!

We recommend our supporters set up a fundraising page online, and you can quickly and easily set up a secure fundraising page via JustGiving.

It’s always best to upload some appealing photos to your page, along with an introduction as to why you have decided to take on your challenge and chose to support Book Aid International, and to set a realistic target for your fundraising. We can help with this – just get in touch with us using the contact details below.

You may find it best to set your target at the lower end of what you are hoping to raise, and then increase this as the donations start coming in!

Once your page is up and running you should share it with all your friends, family and colleagues and encourage them to donate, and let them know the difference their support will make to both you and Book Aid International.

We’re more than happy to talk you through the process of setting up your page and promoting it within your networks to make it a success, so please do contact us with any questions you have on info@bookaid.org or call us on 020 7733 3577.
