Blackwell’s, the UK’s largest academic and specialist bookseller, has been supporting Book Aid International since 2017.
Blackwell’s shops in England, Scotland and Wales support the charity by donating proceeds from its carrier bags sales to the charity, and we work together to generate additional funds and raise awareness of our work.
Book Aid International and Blackwell’s share a commitment to ensuring that high-quality academic books are available to those who need them.
Funds raised by Blackwell’s this year so far have helped us to send over 15,000 books to people who need them. These books have helped us support a diverse range of higher education partners around the world, providing vital resource for students who cannot afford to buy books.
Blackwell’s is a strong supporter of Book Aid International because, like them, we believe that books are powerful. We are thrilled to be continuing our support of this wonderful organisation. It is a rare joy to be in a partnership where our values are so closely aligned.
