Share the power of books

Volunteers play a critical role in sending books to communities worldwide.

As a volunteer, you can help us prepare shipments of books, picking carefully selected titles from the shelves of our London warehouse. We’re currently looking for more people who can join us to volunteer regularly.

Volunteering – what’s involved?

The key jobs done by volunteers are finding and picking books in our warehouse and then stamping them with our logo, ready to be sent to our partners across the globe.

While our volunteering roles aren’t overly strenuous, you will be on your feet for several hours at a time. You might also need to lift heavy books or boxes, though of course we provide full training.

We are looking for people who can volunteer regularly, because you will need to get to know our systems and how we work. We also welcome groups of corporate volunteers from our corporate partners and book donors. Find out more
