We make it a priority to provide the books that children need wherever they might be.

In an average year, about two thirds of the brand new books we provide are for children. They reach thousands of schools, libraries and refugee camps around the world where children are desperate to read.

2018 for example, we worked with our global network of partners to send 875,000 books to young readers.

The books we provide for children range include picture books, phonics books, graded readers, young adult fiction and non-fiction and children’s English as a Second Language texts. The diversity of the books we provide for young readers ensures that children have the books they need at every stage of learning.

The impact of children’s books

From improved educational performance to a new confidence, the books we send are changing children's lives.
